  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (6 oz each), patted dry
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Cajun Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

For Serving

  • 1 pieces Lemon wedges
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel.
  • In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Cooking

  • Drizzle the salmon with olive oil and rub it evenly over the fillets.
  • Sprinkle the seasoning mixture generously over the salmon and press gently to adhere.
  • Place the seasoned salmon on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • Let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Serve with fluffy white rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh green salad. This dish is versatile for various occasions.
