  • 16 oz rotini pasta (uncooked) Perfect for holding the sauce.

Preparation

  • Prep your ingredients: dice the onion, mince the garlic, and slice the sun-dried tomatoes.
  • Layer the boneless skinless chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle the diced onion and minced garlic over the chicken.
  • Pour the entire jar of alfredo sauce over the mixture.
  • Add heavy cream and sprinkle parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Delicately place the sliced sun-dried tomatoes on top.
  • Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • During the final 30 minutes of cooking, stir in fresh baby spinach.
  • Prepare the rotini pasta according to package instructions and set aside.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken in the crockpot and mix it into the sauce.
  • Combine the chicken mixture with cooked rotini, ensuring even coating.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves.

Notes

Make sure to season each layer of ingredients to maximize flavor. For a richer flavor, marinate the chicken in olive oil, garlic, and Italian seasoning beforehand.
