  • 16 oz cream cheese (softened) Rich, creamy base.
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese Adds depth and texture.
  • 0.5 cup dill pickles (chopped) Provides classic dill flavor.
  • 0.25 cup green onions (sliced) Fresh and aromatic.
  • 2 tbsp dill pickle juice Enhances pickle flavor.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Adds flavor.
  • 1 tsp dill weed Enhances dill character.

Coating

  • 1 cup crushed pecans (for coating) Adds crunch.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients on a clean workspace.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese. Blend until smooth.
  • Gently fold in chopped dill pickles, sliced green onions, dill pickle juice, garlic powder, and dill weed.
  • Form the mixture into a compact round ball and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Coating and Serving

  • After refrigeration, roll the cheese ball in crushed pecans until evenly coated.
  • Transfer to a serving platter and serve with crackers, fresh vegetables, or pretzel sticks.

Notes

For extra flavor, add hot sauce to the mixture. Can be made a day in advance. Use different nuts for coating as desired.
