Preparation

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Drain any excess fat from the skillet if necessary.
  • Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, cooking for a couple of minutes.
  • Add the broccoli florets and stir gently. Cook for another 3-5 minutes until broccoli is tender yet crisp.
  • Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir to coat everything evenly and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Serving

  • Serve hot from the skillet, ideally over a bed of rice.

Notes

For added heat, sprinkle red pepper flakes during cooking. Consider garnishing with toasted sesame seeds or sliced green onions.
