Dressing and Cheese

Instructions
 

Cooking and Preparation

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  • While pasta cooks, slice salami and pepperoni, halve cherry tomatoes, dice cucumber, thinly slice red onion, and slice olives.

Combining

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, salami, pepperoni, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and olives. Toss gently.
  • Drizzle the Italian dressing over the salad and toss again to mix thoroughly.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and give it one final toss.

Chill and Serve

  • Let the salad chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a twist, consider making your own Italian dressing. Omitting the meats makes it vegetarian-friendly; use marinated artichokes for added flavor. This pasta salad tastes better the next day.
