Preparation

  • Marinate the chicken by combining olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt in a bowl. Add chicken breasts and ensure they are coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease lightly with olive oil.

Cooking

  • Place marinated chicken on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring space between pieces. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes after cooking.

Serving
