Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Lobster Tails (about 6-8 oz each) Tender and juicy, these lobster tails are the star of the dish.
  • 4 tablespoons Butter (unsalted) Rich and creamy, enhances overall flavor.
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced) Infuses the lobster with an irresistible aroma.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice (freshly squeezed) Adds a fresh and tangy balance to the richness of the butter.
  • 0.25 teaspoon Paprika (optional) Adds color and a hint of smokiness.
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt (to taste) Enhances the flavor of the lobster.
  • 0.125 teaspoon Black Pepper (to taste) Adds a warm, mild kick.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Using kitchen shears, carefully cut the top of the lobster shells lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin.
  • Gently pull apart the sides of the shell and use a spoon to lift the lobster meat slightly out of the shell, resting it on top.
  • In a small bowl, melt the unsalted butter in the microwave or over low heat. Stir in the minced garlic, freshly squeezed lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the lobster meat.
  • Place the prepared lobster tails in a baking dish and bake for about 12-15 minutes.
  • Switch your oven to broil for the last 2-3 minutes for an extra layer of flavor.
  • Remove the lobster tails from the oven and let them sit for a minute before serving, drizzled with the remaining garlic butter.

Notes

Optional: Add a dash of cayenne pepper for heat or sprinkle brown sugar for sweetness. Experiment with fresh herbs such as parsley or thyme for an aromatic finish.
