Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds beef chuck (cut into cubes) Provides a rich, juicy flavor with each tender bite.
  • 2 cups beef stock Acts as the luscious base of our soup.
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning Adds a kick of flavor, bringing the spirit of New Orleans into your kitchen.
  • 8 ounces spaghetti (cooked) Perfect for soaking up the rich broth.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by bringing a large pot over medium heat. Add the beef chuck cubes and sear them until they develop a beautiful brown crust.
  • Once the beef is browned, pour in the beef stock, scraping up the flavorful bits stuck to the bottom of the pot.
  • Stir in the Cajun seasoning, mixing well to ensure every piece of beef is coated. Allow the mixture to come to a gentle boil.
  • Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for about 90 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cook your spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Once the beef is tender, taste the broth and adjust seasoning if necessary. Add the cooked spaghetti directly into the pot, stirring to combine.
  • Let the mixture cook together for an additional 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld beautifully.
  • Serve hot, garnishing with your choice of sliced green onions or a sprinkle of additional Cajun seasoning.

Notes

For a truly authentic experience, consider adding a dash of hot sauce before serving. You can also add sliced bell peppers or mushrooms during the simmering stage for added vegetables.
