Ingredients

For the truffles

  • 10 oz Sugar Cookies (Crushed) Ensure cookies are finely crushed for the best texture.
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (Softened) Must be well-softened to ensure smooth mixing.
  • 12 oz White Chocolate (Melted) Melt carefully to avoid burning.
  • 2 tbsp Sprinkles (For decoration) Use colorful sprinkles for a festive touch.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by crushing the sugar cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or a rolling pin in a sealed plastic bag.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed sugar cookies with the softened cream cheese and mix well until a cohesive dough-like consistency is achieved.
  • Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, about 1 inch in diameter, placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler or microwave, using 30-second intervals and stirring in between to ensure even melting.
  • Drop each cookie ball into the melted white chocolate until fully coated, then use a fork to lift it out, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
  • Sprinkle each truffle with colorful sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet to help them stick.
  • Let the truffles cool in the fridge for about 30 minutes until the white chocolate sets completely.

Notes

Sugar Cookie Truffles make an excellent dessert for birthday parties or holiday gatherings. They pair wonderfully with coffee or hot chocolate. For gifting, pack them in cute boxes or mason jars.
